Pilgrimage

Šiauliai Cathedral is an outstanding monument of renaissance in Lithuania. In addition, it is one of the most visited pilgimage sights once even visited by pope John Paul II.

Tytuvėnai Church and Monastery is a unique architectural monument of baroque and gothic styles in North East Europe. Also it is an important pilgrimage center, thus is attracts boths - culture lovers and prayers from all over the world.

Pyramid of Merkinė. In one of the forests of Dzūkija region there is a building which is believed to have miracle powers. It is called the Pyramid of Merkinė. According to many witnesses, people inside the Pyramid experience wonderful feelings and recover.

Gate of Dawn. The Gate of Dawn is one of the greatest highlights in Vilnius. This miracle and religious place attracts people from all over the world.

Šiluva town is a place attracting pilgrims from all Lithuania as well as from other countries. Šiluva is claimed to be one of 5 places in Europe where the Blessed Virgin Mary appeared for people. In 1993 the Pope Paul II visited Šiluva.

Hill Of Crosses is probably the most attractive pilgrimage center in Lithuania. Visitors here can have a unique chance to see real art crafts there as cross crafting is a unique lithuanian art branch included into UNESCO World Heritage list.
